Harris Regional Hospital welcomes Frederick Dressler, MD to Harris Cardiology

SYLVA, N.C. – Harris Regional Hospital, a Duke LifePoint hospital, is pleased to welcome Frederick Dressler, MD to Harris Cardiology, a Duke LifePoint physician practice located on the second floor of the hospital. Dr. Dressler joins Francis Nullet, MD and Hamid Nawaz, MD in providing comprehensive cardiovascular care.
Dr. Dressler completed his residency training at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore Maryland after graduating from the American University of the Caribbean located in Coral Gables, Florida. Dr. Dressler was a guest researcher in cardiac pathology for the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.

With the expansion of Harris Cardiology, Harris Regional Hospital has significantly expanded cardiology services in Sylva, Jackson County, and the surrounding region with additional diagnostic, treatment, and monitoring services, as well as stress testing and echocardiography, seven days a week. The hospital now offers cardiac catheterization services, in partnership with Duke LifePoint Cardiac Partners, LLP. Harris Regional Hospital is accredited as a chest pain center by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care.
