Harris Regional Hospital's board-certified surgeons provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care, including pre-operative and post-operative care at local practices. All surgeries are performed at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC.
The latest equipment is utilized in 6 operating suites, and over 400 surgical procedures are performed each month. Due to newer techniques available such as laser and endoscopic surgery, many procedures can be done on an outpatient basis.
Approximately half of the surgeries performed at Harris Regional Hospital are completed on an outpatient basis. Our outpatient surgical unit provides the convenience of private rooms for preparation and recovery.
