SYLVA, NC – Harris Regional Hospital is ringing in 2018 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces and measuring 19 inches, Adeline was born to Kimberly and Robert Reed of Highlands Monday, Jan. 1, at 10:20 a.m.
“This is definitely an exciting way for our family to ring in the New Year” said Kimberly “The physicians and especially the nurses at Harris took such great care of us and we are so grateful to them for making us feel so comfortable.”
Judi Layton, CNM, women’s care provider at Harris Regional Hospital delivered Adeline who will now join her big brother completing the happy family of four.
Dad Robert noted that the care provided was definitely a family approach and he felt like an active part to the care provided to his wife and daughter, “The nurses here made us feel like we were their top priority, they went above and beyond what was required of them. They are really great at their job and by the way they treat their patients, you can tell they enjoy what they do. We had the best experience here and for that we are so thankful”.
