Harris Regional Hospital to hold community forums
January 8, 2018
SYLVA, NC – Harris Regional Hospital will hold two community forums at the Jackson County Library in downtown Sylva to share updates on hospital services, expansions of services through the 2018 strategic plan, and results from the hospitals’ quality outcomes.
The forums are planned for 3 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, January 29th and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 2nd in the library’s community room.
“This is the time of year when we look ahead to what’s next for our hospitals in the ways we serve our communities. We’re excited to share some of our strategic initiatives and pleased to provide an overview of how the care we provide is measured and ranked nationally,” said Steve Heatherly, CEO of Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital.
Harris Regional Hospital and Swain Community Hospital have collaborated with leadership, Medical Staff, and employees on expanding access to care for patients in the region with the highest quality and the fewest barriers to care, such as those requiring travel outside the local area for services.
