Connie Borgerding, DO joins Harris Medical Associates in providing family care to community.

Sylva, N.C. – Harris Regional Hospital is pleased to welcome board certified family physician Connie Borgerding, DO to Harris Medical Associates located at Harris Medical Park, 98 Doctors Drive. Dr. Borgerding joins Lee Ann Manthorne, DO, Steven Queen, MD, Randall Provost, MD, Elizabeth Dixon, MD, Ana Maria Gonzalez, MD  and Gray Erlacher, MD in providing primary care to the community. Dr. Borgerding completed a residency in family practice with the Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Borgerding received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus after completing post-graduate courses in pre-med at Kennesaw State University.  

Dr. Borgerding is Board Certified in Family Medicine and OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments) which is an alternate form of care that focuses on hands-on care. It involves using the hands to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. Using OMT, Dr. Borgerding is able to care for muscles and joints using techniques including stretching, gentle pressure and resistance which can be used to improve health, decrease pain and increase mobility for many patients. 

With the addition of Dr. Borgerding, Harris Medical Associates cares for the full-spectrum family including specialized women’s and children’s care.

Harris Medical Associates is located on the second floor of Harris Medical Park.
