Harris Regional Hospital Announces Nov. 17 Lunch and Learn on Menopause Awareness and Health

November 04, 2025

Harris Regional Hospital invites community members to a free Lunch and Learn on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Easton Board Room.

The session, led by certified nurse midwife Anne Karner, will focus on understanding menopause and the changes it brings throughout a woman’s life. This educational event will explore both the physical and emotional aspects of menopause, discuss common symptoms, and share ways to support overall wellbeing through lifestyle and medical care.

“Menopause is a natural part of aging, but it can also bring many questions and challenges,” said Anne Karner, CNM. “Our goal with this discussion is to empower women with knowledge, help them feel understood, and offer practical tools for managing this stage of life with confidence.”

Menopause affects every woman differently, and increased education helps normalize conversations around hormonal health, emotional balance, and preventive care. By creating space for open dialogue, Harris Regional Hospital continues its mission of making communities healthier and ensuring women have access to trusted information and compassionate care.

The event is free and open to all community members both in person and virtually. Lunch will be provided.
